How to Clean Your ActivPanel

Each classroom has been provided a bottle of Ispropyl Alcohol and a couple of microfibre cleaning cloths. Please follow the below instructions to clean your ActivPanel a minimum of once weekly:

Disconnect the product from its power source.
Lightly apply 70-90% Ethanol or 70-90% IPA to a 100% cotton or microfibre cloth (recommended to spray onto the cloth). Do not apply liquids directly to the ActivPanel or any Promethean device.
In a single direction, wipe down the cover glass of the ActivPanel making sure to avoid the narrow sides of the touch bezel. Do not apply excessive pressure to the glass.
For the other surfaces use only the lightly dampened cotton microfibre cloth to avoid malfunction and possible permanent damage to electronic parts, lightly clean the surface of the product, avoiding any connection points or ventilation holes.
After the application, dry the cover glass with a clean and dry microfibre cloth.
